ninjutsu guard pass - Ninpo-Style
Description: This is an example of "passing the guard" using "Ninpo-style" concepts.
The first concept is the same in Ninpo and BJJ and that is posture (Kamae) Knees wide, butt down and face in the chest/belly. Hands inside the arms on the biceps or inner elbow and not on the ground.
Ninpo will use the same idea as BJJ and posture up. but we will attack the nearest target first, the eyes. People WILL react to eye attacks, from there as we begin to posture up, we move to kyusho (attack points) on the neck which are VERY painful. And finally hand on solar plexus to keep the opponent down. (Common basic move in BJJ).
We "open the guard" with an elbow strike/grind into the femoral nerve (again used in BJJ as well) and a groin attack with a hammer fist (tsui-ken).
In the example one groin hit is shown but you might need more, when hit in the groin people especially men will naturally sit up, which provides the fudo-ken to the nose.
Taking that moment of open guard and distraction, cast the leg aside and roll away and escape
